Laser solutions for steel structure & construction
Steel structure fabricators use high-power fiber lasers to cut thick connection plates and gussets, and tube/profile lasers to cope H-beams, channels and hollow sections with bolt holes and weld bevels in one pass, replacing sawing, drilling and manual marking.
Typical parts
- Base plates, gussets and connection plates
- H-beam and channel coping, bolt holes, bevels
- Hollow section trusses and space frames
- Stairs, railings and secondary steel
Laser cutting plus roll forming
Many steel building contractors also produce their own C/Z purlins, roof and wall panels and deck sheets. Our sister company Halcyon Machinery supplies roll forming machines for these products, so one supplier can equip both the cutting line and the forming line.
